Primesure Newsletter: December 2024

Kia ora and season's greetings

The end of the year is upon us again.

Not sure if it’s my age but they do seem to fly by now!!

This year we have included some safety and security tips to help you navigate the holiday season incident free.

Again I would like to thank the Primesure crew for all their hard work. We went live on the new computer system in September with a lot of resource and overtime being used to make sure it delivers great client outcomes.

2024 has been another tough year for a lot of people so I hope 2025 brings you all prosperity and happiness in whatever you do.

The office will be closed from 12pm on the 24th and reopening again on the 6th of January 2025. We have people on call during this period so if you require urgent assistance please call 09 818 4247.

We wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas.

Meri Kirihimete me te tau hou.

Cheers,
Cameron Hollis

Safety on the roads

  • Prepare your car for summer and keep an emergency kit with you

  • Get a good night’s sleep before departing and avoid drowsy driving

  • Leave early and plan ahead for heavy traffic

  • Make sure every person in the vehicle is properly buckled up no matter how long or short the distance traveled

  • Put that cell phone away; many distractions occur while driving, but cell phones are the main culprit

  • Practice defensive driving

  • Designate a sober driver to ensure guests make it home safely after a holiday party; alcohol or over-the-counter, prescription and illegal drugs can cause impairment

Home security

  • Getting a neighbour to collect mail and put your bins out on bin night

  • Parking a car on your driveway so it looks like someone is home

  • Using timers to turn interior and exterior lights on and off at night – ideally at different times to avoid an obvious pattern

  • Hanging clothes on the washing line, or leaving shoes at the front door and ensuring scheduled deliveries, such as newspapers are stopped while you are away, or asking a neighbour to collect them.

Safety on the water

  • Wear your lifejacket

  • Take two waterproof ways to call for help

  • Check the marine weather forecast

  • Avoid alcohol

  • Be a responsible skipper

Client focus:

Golf HQ

Golf HQ is a team of qualified, motivated NZPGA professionals servicing New Zealand through our website and our local community on Auckland's North Shore. We also have two big store locations in Takapuna & Whangaparaoa.

What we do

We help golfers love golf from the grassroots up.

We’re the golf company that gets amongst it with the real golfers, and we earn loyalty from clubs and communities by being there for locals and playing a genuine role in their love of golf. We make it easy for clubs to have a best-practice pro shop on site, and our online store available for golfers country-wide. We run events with vibrant activities that make the golf club a more fun place to play.

We help golfers love golf by personalising our approach to each customer.

We’re the opposite of a big barn who sells hard and pushes the customer out the door; we personalise our service, we tailor our solutions to make sure customers get the right equipment and learn how to use it properly, to improve their game. We’ve chosen our product mix to strike the right balance between cost efficiency and the most relevant range of customer solutions.

We help golfers love golf through our constant drive for improvement.

We drive to improve the game of every single customer that walks in the store or visits us online, because it’s their improvement that drives their love of the game and keeps them coming back.

Why we do it

All staff members at Golf HQ are PGA professionals. We help golfers love golf through our own sheer passion for golf. We can never forget why we’re here, or why our customers are here - because we all play a game that we’re madly in love with.
